The American River Water Polo Club is a competitive youth water polo organization serving the greater Sacramento area. We welcome athletes of all skill levels — whether you're just discovering the sport or pushing for a college scholarship, ARWPC is your team.

Our coaches are passionate about player development, sportsmanship, and building confidence both in and out of the water. We foster a culture of respect, hard work, and growth that lasts far beyond the pool.

What We Offer

Programs for Every Level

From first-timers to seasoned competitors, our programs are designed to meet athletes where they are and take them further than they imagined.

Youth Development

Introductory program for young athletes ages 8–12 to learn fundamentals, water safety, and the love of the game in a fun, supportive environment.

Competitive Teams

Structured team competition across multiple age groups. Our teams compete regionally and statewide, pushing athletes to reach new levels of performance.

Elite Training

Advanced coaching and conditioning for high school athletes aspiring to play at the collegiate level. Skill development, film study, and recruiting guidance.

Open Registration

Register online year-round. New seasons open throughout the year for all programs. Payment plans available — no athlete should sit out due to financial hardship.
