Who We Are

An Independent Partner
for Pennsylvania Educators

Established in 1997, Next Century, Inc. currently employs over 30 staff members who have provided services to organizations such as the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, Benton Area, Berwick Area, Central Columbia, Mifflinburg Area, and Shikellamy School Districts.

Administrative functions are carried out by a manager and a board of seven volunteer directors. All services are provided by Next Century employees working under formal agreements with school districts or intermediate units.

While Next Century offers services throughout the state of Pennsylvania, we currently maintain active agreements with the intermediate unit and school districts within the Central Susquehanna region.

Adult Education

Qualified instructors for adult learning programs, GED preparation, and continuing education within school district settings.

After-School Programs

Staffing for structured after-school enrichment, tutoring, and supervised activities extending learning beyond the school day.

Driver Education

Certified driver education instructors providing safe, compliant behind-the-wheel and classroom instruction within districts.

Special Education

Specialized personnel supporting students with individualized education needs, including program management and direct services.

Speech Therapy

Licensed speech-language pathologists supporting students with communication needs across all grade levels.

Program Management

Administrative and operational support including guidance services, business administration, and coordinated program management.

Service Fee Structure

Transparent,
Straightforward Costs

Next Century charges a single administrative fee per agreement. Social Security, Medicare, unemployment compensation, and workers compensation are paid by Next Century and charged to the agreement entity. Benefits are not offered to employees.
