Our Mission

Fostering community stewardship
for a sustainable future

The CNMI holds a unique and beautiful natural heritage — but these treasures face continued degradation. MINA was founded by individuals whose dedication and compassion for the environment drove them to act, building programs that empower communities to protect and restore local ecosystems.

By fostering community watch, outreach, and science-based conservation, MINA works toward long-term environmental sustainability across Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.
