Our Mission

Promoting safety, security and protection for TGNC people worldwide.

Our mission is to promote, implement, educate and publish transgender safety guidebooks, and to host annual retreats and conferences on matters of safety for transgender individuals within the USA and around the world.

We also assist transgender people in countries where they face persecution with travel arrangements to a safe country where they can live freely and rebuild their lives. Violence against the transgender community is rising in the United States and worldwide. Together, we can put an end to this and make the world safe for everyone.

Founder & CEO

Grace Felicia Lawrence

Our Founder

A leader shaped by survival, driven by service.

Grace Felicia Lawrence is a trans woman from Liberia, West Africa, and a three-time hate crime survivor. She bears the physical scars of those attacks and has dedicated her life to protecting the gender non-conforming community.

A longtime photojournalist, she has documented the plight of the community in Africa, the United States and beyond. For more than 20 years, she has worked to help members of the community escape danger and find safety.

Ms. Lawrence is recognized as a leader by the State of California Legislature Assembly, Mayor Darrell Steinberg and the Sacramento City Council. She appeared in the documentary film Major, and served as Grand Marshal of the 2018 Sacramento Pride Parade.
