Who We Are

Fighting for consumers' rights — ahead of corporate profit

The Consumer Federation of California is a nonprofit advocacy organization. Each year, we testify before the California legislature on dozens of bills affecting millions of consumers, and appear before state agencies in support of consumer regulations.

Our work spans medical, financial and digital privacy; truth in advertising; toxic-chemical reform; and protecting seniors from predatory contracts — always placing people before profit.
