Who We Are

An interdenominational Christian mission for the world's children.

Children of Promise International (COPI) is an interdenominational Christian mission organization founded in 1974 and dedicated to caring for orphans. Through church-based orphan homes, learning centers and affiliated ministries, COPI reaches the unreached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Our founder, Linn Haitz, pioneered COPI's mission in 1968 when — at the age of fifty-eight — he left an American pastorate to reach the unreached in the jungles of South America. From there, our outreach expanded to India, Central America and other marginalized regions. In the five decades since, COPI's mission has grown to care for thousands of orphans and destitute children in nearly 10 countries worldwide.

We are blessed to operate with a volunteer staff acting as a faithful conduit between donors and the children they support.

What We Do

Somewhere around the world a child longs for love, food, shelter and a place called home. Through partnerships with churches, ministries and faithful supporters, COPI's children's homes provide that home in communities that need it most.

Each home is connected to a local church or like-minded Christian mission, so children are nurtured by loving caregivers in the Word of God.
