Veterinarians & Volunteers United for Dogs

Animal Rescue Squad International is a 100% volunteer-run, donation-funded nonprofit founded by a passionate group of veterinarians and animal lovers. We rescue neglected dogs locally and internationally, then find them loving homes in the United States through extensive social training and careful placement.

All our adoptable dogs are fostered in Davis, California. They receive the very best care before joining their forever families up and down the West Coast.

A licensed veterinarian with her DVM from Taiwan and a PhD in epidemiology from UC Davis, Dr. Yang has been dedicated to her rescue mission in Davis since 2007. Her expertise ensures every dog receives exceptional medical care before adoption.
